Marquee Letters & Numbers Policies

This summary highlights key policies for your convenience. It does not replace the full rental & Design Services Agreement, which governs your booking in full. These policies apply specifically to the Marquee Letter & Number rentals and are in addition to the General Policies.

Care & Handling

• Marquee characters must be handled gently and kept upright at all times.

• Do not lean, stack, drag, or place heavy items on top of characters.

• Acrylic characters may scratch easily — avoid contact with rough surfaces.

• Characters may not be used as seating, step stools, or climbing props.

Indoor & Outdoor Use

• Standard paper/cardboard characters are indoor‑only or covered outdoor use.

• They cannot be placed on wet grass, mud, gravel, or exposed outdoor areas.

• Acrylic characters may be used outdoors but must still be placed on dry, level surfaces.

• No marquee characters may be left outdoors overnight.

Weather Restrictions

• If weather prevents safe outdoor setup, Social Lawn Co will offer an indoor alternative or a complimentary reschedule (subject to availability).

• Refunds are not issued for weather‑related cancellations.

Placement Requirements

• Characters must be placed on a flat, stable surface.

• Outdoor setups require a covered area or dry ground.

• Client must ensure the setup area is clear and accessible at the scheduled time.

Damage & Replacement

• Damage to characters (bending, tearing, water damage, stains, dents, scratches, cracks, or structural damage) will incur replacement fees.

• Missing characters or props will be charged at full replacement value.

• Acrylic upgrades have higher replacement costs due to material pricing.
